Best Year Yet
In the Pemberton Township School District (and many others) the last week of summer is coming to a close. As many of us anticipate the start of a new school year, it is natural for feelings of anxiety and apprehension to become more observable in our minds. And if we are experiencing anxiety, we can safely assume many of our students are feeling similar strong emotions. For that reason it is all the more important we approach the new school year with kindness and compassion.
This week I came across two powerful examples of how students often surprise us with their kindness. In addition, we have a couple of ideas to help increase communication and improve relationships within the schoolhouse. I look forward to seeing many of you soon!
